Hospice of Rutherford County is a tax-exempt, non-profit organization that receives contributions from the community to support the Hospice mission. Contributions to Hospice enable the organization to continue to provide quality care for terminally ill patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Donations also enable Hospice to provide grief counseling at no cost to any adult, adolescent or child in the community who has lost a loved one. Hospice relies on individual, business, industry, and church donations, as well as memorials, membership drives, fundraising events, gift-in-kind donations and estate planning to supplement Hospice care and additional programs and services.

Naming opportunities are available in the Hospice Annette Cash Whitaker Center of Living, at the Hospice House and the New Volunteer Training Center. Contributions to Hospice of Rutherford County are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The solicitation license number with the state of North Carolina for Hospice is SL001630.
