Hospice of Rutherford County provides grief counseling at no cost for any adult, child or teen in the community who has lost a loved one.  Hospice has professional counselors who conduct support groups and individual counseling at the Annette Cash Whitaker Center of Living and within the school system.  In addition, Hospice provides educational seminars for groups regarding grief and loss throughout the year.  Hospice also has a library at the Center of Living where anyone can check out a book or other materials to help them deal with the loss of a loved one.  The library is open Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm and is located at 374 Hudlow Road, Forest City.
