Hospice of Rutherford County provides care for patient’s regardless of where they live. As the result, skilled nursing facility residents as well as assisted living and rest home residents receive the same quality care as those who live in private residences. Social workers assist with emotional issues and community resources, chaplains are available for spiritual care, certified nursing assistants supplement personal care, and volunteers provide companionship.

Nurses visit regularly and a nurse is on call 24 hours a day for emergencies. The medical Director, in support of the patients physician will advice the Hospice Nurse with regard to symptom control.
